Subadmin

The Subadmin module allows the super admin to create and manage additional admin accounts with specific access controls and responsibilities.

Subadmin List Overview

  • Name & Email ID – Contact details of the subadmin
  • Status – Active or Blocked (toggle anytime)
  • Action Buttons – Edit or Delete subadmin accounts

+Add a New Subadmin

1. Click “Add”

2. Enter the following:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Password
  • Role/Permissions (Choose what this subadmin can access)

3. Click Submit to create the account

  • You can assign only specific modules for limited control.

For Personal

Enter the following:

  • Upload image
  • Name, Email, Phone number
  • Select Restaurant
  • Password
  • Role/Permissions (Choose what this subadmin can access)

Click Add to create the account

For Permissions

Three Main Access Sections:

Each section includes access levels like View, Edit, and Delete for each module.

FAQ's

The Sub Admin module allows the main admin to create staff accounts (sub-admins), define their roles, and manage their access permissions within the Pickup and Delivery platform. This ensures that staff members have access only to the areas they’re authorized to manage.

Each sub-admin entry displays:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Status (Active/Inactive)
  • Action buttons (Edit/Delete)

Yes. The admin can toggle the status of any sub-admin to Active or Inactive. This helps to temporarily disable access without removing their profile

The admin can:

  • Edit details such as name, email, phone, and password
  • Update role-based permissions
  • Delete the sub-admin if no longer needed

Permissions can be customized per module or feature:

  • View access – Allows viewing the data
  • Edit access – Allows modifying content
  • Delete access – Allows deleting data
    Admins can assign different combinations for modules like CMS, Reports, User Management, etc.

To assign or change permissions:

  • Click on the Edit button under the Actions column.
  • Navigate to the Permissions section.
  • Choose the required access levels for each module (View/Edit/Delete).
  • Click Update to save changes.

To add a new Sub Admin:

  • Click on Add New Sub Admin
  • Upload their profile image
  • Enter first name, last name, email, phone number, and a secure password
  • Assign the required permissions
  • Click Add to save and activate the new Sub Admin

Yes. Without assigned permissions, the sub-admin will not be able to access any module. Assigning permissions ensures they can only view or manage specific areas relevant to their role.

Yes. Admins can edit and update permissions anytime by clicking on the Edit button next to the sub-admin’s name.

They will see an Access Denied message or the module will be completely hidden from their dashboard, depending on the platform settings.

Absolutely. Permissions are modular, so you can allow access to only Reports, only CMS, or any specific combination depending on the staff role.

There is no fixed limit unless defined by your plan or package. You can create as many sub-admins as needed for your operational workflow.

Yes. Each sub-admin can have a custom set of permissions. You can define roles based on their department or responsibilities (e.g., marketing, operations, support).

No. Only the Main Admin has access to change or update the roles and permissions of sub-admins.

Only if the admin grants permissions to modules that contain customer or order data. For example, they can view reports or manage orders if those roles are assigned.

The Main Admin can reset the password by editing the sub-admin’s details. Alternatively, a password reset flow can be enabled if supported.
