FAQ's

The Status Configuration module allows the admin to define, manage, and customize the various status stages in the order flow (e.g., Pending, Accepted, Order Ready). It ensures that users receive real-time, meaningful updates throughout the order journey.

Yes, every status label is fully customizable. For example, instead of showing “Picked,” you can display “Order is Picked” to users. This helps in matching the tone and clarity you prefer for your platform.

Yes. Any change made in the admin panel is instantly reflected on the user app. The entire status lifecycle—from booking to completion or cancellation—is visible to the user dynamically.

Admins can choose which dynamic fields to include in the notification, such as:

  • Driver’s first name
  • Driver’s last name
  • Pickup order number
  • Booking number

You can enable or disable any of these with a simple toggle.

Yes. There is an option to enable email notifications for any status update. Just toggle the button, and the user will receive email alerts alongside in-app ones.

The timestamp represents the time when a particular status is triggered or updated. Admins can update this manually if needed for operational tracking and user clarity.

 Yes, you can:

  • Define a cancellation charge percentage (e.g., 2% fee for canceled orders)
  • Set the cancellation time window (e.g., cancellation allowed within 45 seconds after placing the order)

This helps in maintaining operational efficiency and discourages last-minute cancellations.

Once you hit Save, all changes (status names, notification content, cancellation rules, etc.) are immediately updated across the platform and visible to the end users.

Absolutely. All status types—including scheduled, ongoing, completed, and cancelled (by user or admin)—are dynamic and can be edited to suit your operational language or workflow.

Primarily, this configuration affects the user-side flow, but depending on your platform’s setup, the changes may also be reflected in internal panels (like restaurant or driver dashboards) for consistency.
